PCI-compliant card payments
Card payments run on certified Valor payment terminals through our processing partner, so card numbers are handled by the terminal and processor rather than stored in the POS. Ask us for the details your compliance team needs.
End-to-end encryption (E2EE)
Card data is encrypted from the moment it enters our hardware until it reaches our processor. Even if someone got physical access to your POS, your customers' card numbers are never exposed in clear text.
EMV
Every PalomaPOS card terminal is EMV-certified for chip-card fraud-liability protection.
Role-based access control
Cashier, manager, owner, and accountant all see only what they need. Managers can override discounts, owners can reset hardware, and accountants can pull reports — without ever seeing card data.
Audit logs & monitoring
Every override, void, refund, and configuration change is logged with the operator's name and timestamp.
Compliant signage & disclosures
When you use Cash Discount mode, we provide all required compliant signage and on-receipt disclosures — included free. You don't have to be a payments lawyer to stay on the right side of state and card-brand rules.
